Recently we had the chance to interview her again about her latest book Black Brother, Black Brother. The book is about two brothers, Trey who presents as white, and Donte as black. It shows their lives are different only because of their skin color.

In February, I was looking for a book to read during Black History Month and my dad received As We Saw It from a publishing company. My dad recommended the book as a good choice for the theme and we decided to read it. I enjoyed getting to learn about different figures in history in the interview and talking to Virginia Cumberbatch (editor) about them with co-hosts Alex and Alexis.

I really like to read science fiction and fantasy novels. Kat Zhang's new middle school novel The Memory of Forgotten Things was an interesting twist and a fun read. Imagine having memories of stuff in your life that didn't really happen. I couldn't put the book down.

I was really excited to interview K.A. Holt author of Knock Out since I first met her at my Middle School. It was a great interview. I learned so much more about the book's characters and why she decided to write a sequel to House Arrest. I can't wait to read her next book.
